With the amount of people complaining about the new models being "reskins," I'd like to point out what they ACTUALLY are.
There are 3 basic parts to making a creature.
Skeleton
Model
Skin
The skeleton is basically the animation. It is what makes you human run like he has a stick in his ass, and what makes Rotface and Festergut slouch forward and backwards when idling. Some examples of same skeletons would be the Tauren and Broken (yes they use the same skeleton, just look at the casting animations).
The model goes over the skeleton. The model basically is the shape of the character, the lumps, the spikes, whatever. For example, the storm dragon mounts/stone drakes/any other type of dragon have different models, but the same skeleton. They all have their little unique parts.
Now skin is fairly basic. A reskinning is just taking the same skeleton, the same shape of the body, the same features (eyes, appendages, tails) and coloring it a little differently or lighting it on fire. So Rotface and Festergut are reskins of each other, as are Earthrager Ptah and Marrowgar.
NO the new creatures are NOT reskins. They are remodels. As I can see, the new Anthricyst guy is a remodel (not a reskin) of any of the Vault of Archavon bosses. The Overfiends are also a remodel, this time of Doomguards, as they have extra spikes and shapes, more textures, and are generally a lot better looking.
