Heya guys,
I came across a weird issue when setting up a media server PS3 for a friend:
He has a PC with all kinds of videos, which are perfectly in sync. Most are 1080p/720p MKV files. These videos are played back perfectly in sync on both pc as PS3 individually. When playing both simultaneously though, e.g. his kids are watching kungfu panda on the PC while we are watching a game of thrones streamed to the PS3, the audio on the PC starts lagging behind after a few minutes. At a certain point, video freezes and audio starts looping. When I restart MPC audio is in sync again for a few minutes, whether I fast forward or not.
Without videos streaming to the PS3 the audio stays in sync.
Has anyone ever come across a similar issue? I've tried giving MPC a higher priority in task manager, I've update PS3 media server, I've updated MPC, I've tried the regular media player, I've installed matroska splitter and I'm running out of options now.
Any help would be appreciated.
