Intel have announced the specs of their latest Core Ultra CPUs. P and E cores remain but hyper threading is gone.
Unfortunately, like AMD's Ryzen 9000 CPUs there doesn't seem to much to write home about.
Intel claims that they are more efficient than the last generation but whether they come close to Ryzen in real world applications remains to be seen.
Obviously we need to wait for benchmarks but it seems that the 7800x3d (9800x3d?) is still the go to CPU for gamers.

Overall it seems that 2024 is a disappointing year for hardware releases.
