Hey people!
It's obvious that the story of WoW will develop very fast in the next patch(es). The Horde is in a civil war and the Alliance will fight in the heartland of their enemies. I can't imagine how Blizz will do all the changes with the factions in the future. The Alliance will help the rebels and after they have beaten Garrosh they may be friendly to each other.
This could be one of the big coming changes Ghostcrawler mentioned. New race-faction combinations or Alliance-Horde raids/dungeons. This would fit in Blizzards current way to make everything possible for the players after they have given us new race-class combinations or after they have given every class the same abilities (selfheal for every class, countless cc, guild revive ... ).
My problem is that Blizzard thinks that every player is against Garrosh. I like the way the conflict was developing during MoP and I wouldn't help the rebels to attack OG. I would rather help the Kor'kron to defend the city and I think that I'm not the only one. The devs should give the player the ability to decide on which side he stands. They should add 2 factions: the rebels and the Kor'kron or whatever, which are opposing like the Scryers and the The Aldor in Shattrath. This would be much more interesting than these one direction thing they are working on, although I don't think this will ever happen because this would lead the Horde to split up on playerside or maybe a third faction or something else.
How do you think the factions will develop in the future? I'm sure there will be a lot of changes like I mentioned before.
