Now that most competing MMORPGs have gone (or are) F2P, such as GW2, Rift, SWTOR, do you think it's time that Blizzard updated their 8 year old model?
Clearly something isn't working for them currently and they've tested their feet in the waters of a Blizzard store (which I believe was successful, Cinder Kitten for example: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/8376066/ )

Is it time to update WoW's subscription model to include a F2P option? (No, the trial doesn't count, level 20 is no longer 'real' content)

I recently picked up GW2 and I'm having a great time! I love that I can enter the game at anytime and have only paid for the initial game. I'm looking forward to getting back into Rift, because I simply couldn't afford paying for 2 MMO's, and I know that all my time in both Rift and GW2 won't allow me to spend much (if any) time at all back on WoW, which I've been playing for over 8 years.
