kind of forgot this even happens because i just got used to squinting through the blur.. so i upgraded to windows 8 quite a while ago now, and ever since then chrome's status bar (i believe this is the status bar) is.. out of focus.

googling around for this only ever managed to find people whose ENTIRE BROWSER was out of focus, and none of those fixes did anything for me. so does anyone here have any idea what this might be?
and while i am here.. twitch.tv does some funny stuff for me.

had a similar thing in the past (years ago) with firefox, turned out to be a missing font or something.. not sure this is the same problem. twitch.tv is the only website i've been to that is affected, honestly cannot think of any others having this problem.
