Hi there,
since around a week i seem to be getting random disconnects in WoW.
(random means, COMPLETELY random. i dont even have to do anything. just standing around will also make it happen.)
it started with an occassional dc (once an hour or less). and now it seems as if i'd be getting dc'd every ~5-30min (->getting worse).
so what i've done so far is this:
- asked a gm if another ip is logging into my account ->not the case.
- reconnecting/configuring network stuff (router, firewall and so on) -> didn't help.
- checking every addon (using almost no addons anyways), didnt stop disconnects from occuring.
this only seems to impact WoW. and the chat is still working. thus the other servers WoW is connecting to have to be involved somehow.
now i know a diagnosis without actually being on the computer is somewhat complicated so my question is:
is there any program or whatever so i can actually check the packet flow towards the blizzard instance and world servers to see if it stops or anything?
at the moment i just cant find any logical explanation or reason for this.
or is there anyone else experiencing this who possibly found a solution?
