WE'RE BACK
Shine is back after a one-year hiatus. Six of our core members, who saw teriffic progression through Heroic Firelands and Heroic Dragon Soul are back and we're now looking to fill out our roster. Just as before, we are continuing with our lax schedule while maximizing and optimizing our time within those constraints to progress through Heroic content at a respectable pace.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Shine is a Level 25 Horde 10-man raiding guild located on the server US-Black Dragonflight (EST). Shine was founded on January 1st, 2011 by seven dedicated and skill close-knit friends and many have raiding experience dating back to Vanilla, even more in The Burning Crusade. We have always focused on raiding as efficient as possible with minimal hours/days spent. We are looking for like minded players that have the drive to succeed and are ready to push the guild further in progression.
While our resume does not reveal world first kills or achievements accomplished by no other, what does grant us a modicum of pride is that we have achieved our goals of progression while maintaining a Casual Raid atmosphere. We are seeking progression focused raiders possessing a desire to succeed and a driven commitment to exceptional performance.

Shine's Raiding roster is kept small by design. We are currently running with a set roster of 10 Raiders and have no intentions of recruiting for the bench. We are only interested in adding players to our core, we do not want bench warmers!
All of our Raiders are expected to perform at high levels, know their class, know the encounters and show up on time. However, we don't yell, scream, shout or belittle our members. If someone isn't performing well, they are told why they are being replaced and what needs to be improved in a friendly, constructive manner. However, most problems are solved promptly and without the need for benching/replacing.
We demand a high standard from our players in aspects of activity, commitment and maturity. We will invest a great deal of time and resources into helping you develop your character and do not want “guild hoppers.” We want gamers who share the same principles as we do and who will dedicate themselves to the advancement and growth of the guild and it's members.
We do very well by working together and keeping drama to a minimum, so maturity and personality are very important to us, and have been the keys to our success. While we do want high performance, it is equally important to us that we raid with people who make the game enjoyable.
We use a Loot Council system. We're here to kill dragons, not play dress-up. More information can be found @ our website.

We're looking for dedicated players for immediate positions in our core that can make all three raid nights.

If you can't spend more than 10 minutes on your application, please don't bother applying. We spend much more time going through applications than it takes to fill them out, so don't expect us to take a sloppy application seriously.
A large concern for any guild is performance and how well personalities mesh. Many of us are in vent on off-nights and level, do our dailies, talk about the weather etc. together and just generally enjoy each other's company.
You are expected to have previous Heroic raiding experience and to have put effort in towards gearing for Tier 15. As we are all coming back to the game from a break, we aren't expecting you to be decked out in Heroic T14 gear as we previously would have. We have decided that ~490 iLvl is acceptable for entry into T15. With our lax gear requirements, we are putting a lot of emphasis on past raid experience to drive us through this tier and on to the next.
