Guys, what are you doing? I've been watching the board most of the day, and have yet to see a thread about this. So screw it, I'll make one.
It appears that Assad has finally made a chemical weapons attack in Syria. It's not confirmed to have originated from his regime, but all evidence points to him right now. Obama stated some time back that chemical weapons were a red line, and would be a game changer for him if they were used. Well, here we are. Now the White House has to make a decision. America's rivals and enemies are keeping a close eye on how we react here. If we give no response, then it has the potential to set the precedent that chemical warfare is now acceptable. Many in congress are calling for swift and decisive action. But the administration wishes to first conduct a full investigation before any decisions are made. They are also urging the UN to make an appropriate response.
So, here's my source list. Pick your poison.

My opinion? Give a couple days to confirm that we really know what we're dealing with here. Was it an actual chemical attack? If so, then it's time to start swatting Assad's planes out of the sky. Find and secure all of their chemical weapons facilities. See where it goes from there.
