I am writing this post in the hope to generate some ideas which may prove useful to me in my role as GM of a PvE/PvP guild.
Traditionally our guild became big on the back of raiding content. We use a EP/GP system and raid members can donate to the guildbank in exchange for EP which can be used to bid on loot in raids.
Since Cataclysm we have taken on doing rBG's and now somehow I'd love to put something in place where our PvP players can also withdraw useful items (such as enchants and gems) however as these items are mostly gathered through our PvE players at the moment I also want to motivate our PvP-ers to make contributions.
The biggest dillema I see is that quite a few of our PvP-ers are broke, but as they mostly love to do just what they do (Arena/rBG) they as little time possible on grinding dailies etc for Gold. i.e. as I see it they have little time/incentive to contribute.
I'd love to hear whether there are any guilds with a strong PvP element out there that have somehow managed to come up with a system that allows to provide for most needs of their PvP-ers but at the same time managed to motivate them to contribute to the G-bank in one way or antother to ensure the G-bank is able to continue to supply to both PvE and PvP-ers, in a way that it is seen as fair by both PvE and PvP as well.
