So I have a co-worker who was in the Airforce, as a mechanic. He said, if people really knew where their tax dollars are going, they would be upset. He had a normal job in the military and here is what he said happens as a normal military personnel..
He said its like a constant perpetual party every day and night. "drinking and bitches," and coming into work the next day hung over. Every day. He said that when he goes to the gym, sometimes he wears his shirts from back when he was serving in the military, and ppl will sometimes say "hey did you serve in the military?" "yes," "thank you for your service man!" (thought cloud from my co-worker) "if they only knew what their tax dollars were spent on to subsidize a party lifestyle for all of them serving.."
I'm curious, whats your experience in the military like? Is it any different in other countries?
