What's the matter with bots?

How in heavens blizzard can't fix his anti cheat engine (at least i hope there is one) to detect use of bot programs? people be making money on it.
Also by analizing the source code isn't possible to find a trigger for insta bans? it's been so long since the last banwave that it makes the game feel so faulty
