So I was curious about the war within. Downloaded the client, logged in to my account and to a lvl 20 character to see the world again. Looked like nice changes overall. And then...world/general chat. 2 first messages I saw were selling GDKP runs. I felt so dirty. Uninstalled right away, no way I'm touching a game that is this selling gear. P2W. Gear that is bought through tokens and real life money. Gold that most likely was farmed by bots.
The people who are left, how can you stand this aspect of the game? Seems like the in game economy, gearing and raiding in general is completely devalued by this. Or am I overreacting?
If I start playing again, will this be something that I will be constantly exposed to? It just feels dirty and I'm coming from a server that isn't exactly blizzards (you know what I mean). And this type of thing isn't allowed and the community is great.
Last time I played was in legion, the token existed then but I wouldn't call it P2W back then since GDKP runs wasn't really a thing. You could buy a level boost and the gear you could buy wasn't exactly end game.
